Bridal Mini heads West!

The Bridal Mini had a fabulous debut this weekend in a Tampa area Bridal Show. The Brides had a blast trying them on, and we loved meeting the happy brides. We learned that many brides are really learning to take their time to make good decisions. Some brides were doing vendor research-yet were not going to be married for two years!

As always we hear a new idea for the Bridal Mini with each new show. Our most recent uses are: Wearing a Bridal Mini to the church rehearsal, and another was to wear aBridal Mini in leiu of a gown for a beach wedding.

Thank you to all of Brides who visited our booth and tried on the Bridal Mini. We thank you for all of your compliments and for the stories you shared.

As for the uses of a Bridal Mini, we can't wait to hear what the Brides will say next!

Women Business Owners Unite!

On September 19th Bridal Vision's President Carol Frederick was invited to attend the Business Development Conference for Women Entrepreneurs, held in the Disney World area. What a treat! A hundred women business owners learning to grow their businesses at a fast rate while being mindful of environmental issues. The overall concept was to be successful, while being GREEN and leaving a minimal footprint on our planet. One helpful suggestion Walmart reps made for our company was to minimize the size of our packaging.

Bridal Vision takes this seriously and has already requested our factory to research a change in our packaging so that we minimize waste. The next version of Bridal Mini packaging will be smaller, and will require less shipping as well. The Bridal Mini will be helpful, fun and environmentally friendly. A Win, Win Win!

Bridal Vision thanks all of the women business owners and company reps that took their time at the conference to help Bridal Vision get off the ground more effectively.

Extra appreication goes to Holly, Therese, Marilyn and other members of NAWBO- the National Association of Women Business Owners www.nawbo.org/, UPS, Matt from Disney, Carla from Walmart, Susan from www.menusthattalk.com , and Jaime from www.Spotmeid.com.

Please check those websites out when you can! They are all worth your time!

There's nothing like mentors and a support system. When we all work together there is nothing we can't accomplish.

Modern brides -meet your new best friend!

Central Florida brides had their first opportunity to see, touch and feel the Bridal Mini garment this past weeked (Sept 6 and 7) at two bridal shows. The reaction was just what we had hoped for!

The brides were excited about the Bridal Mini and it's many uses. The parents and bridesmaids secretly took business cards so that they could order one for their bride when she wasn't watching. What a great gift!

Our booth was swarmed, and time flew by as bride after bride had the chance to try on a Bridal Mini. We want to thank all who stopped by, and we assure those sneaky, thoughtful family members that we will honor the show price for your cherished brides.

We're off and running-and looking forward to every minute of it!

What's a Bridal Mini?????

Ok, so you've read my "About me" section and you're asking yourself...What's a Bridal Mini? That, my friend, is a very popular question these days.

Allow me to explain. A Bridal Mini is a portable practice garment that a bride uses at various times during her engagment year. It looks and feels just like the top half of a wedding gown, and is worn when you test your hair, makeup and jewelry. Best of all-it's worn to the bachelorette party!

I created the Bridal Mini because I got engaged and couldn't find anything to wear to my hair trials that would give me the actual look and feel of my gown. I certainly wasn't going to wait until my gown arrived and then tote it around town and risk staining it. So...when I looked on the web and couldn't find anything, I decided to create it.

Today's brides are so busy between work and school that the time they dedicate to planning their wedding must be effective and efficient. The Bridal Mini certainly helps with that. I recommend wearing your Bridal Mini when you test your wedding day hair, makeup and jewelry, and I suggest you take a photo. Then, you can compare, for example, different types of jewelry by laying the photos side by side. You are sure to make the right decisions for your big day!

We are modern brides-so let's not forget the really fun part, which of course is the bachelorette party. I can tell you from experience, you will get a lot of attention in that Bridal Mini garment. You can accessorize it with a little veil if you like, you can even have your friends sign it and make it a keepsake.

Whatever you decide to use the Bridal Mini for, I simply hope that it helps you. There is nothing more beautiful that a calm, confident bride. Let the fun begin!
